Why is iced tea sweetened in the South and unsweetened in the North?
My daughter ordered sweetened iced tea in Illinois. The waiter said they did not serve it…only unsweetened. If you put sugar in iced tea, it will not dissolve, and as I do not like those little packs of chemicals (artificial sweeteners), this does not make sense to me. Everybody does not use sweetener. Any ideas on why this is?
cuz people in the south know how to throw it down in the kitchen!
